WHY JOIN?

WHAT'S INVOLVED?

• Backpacking during late spring in the mountains for 8 days and7 nights in a small group

• Learning and practising navigation techniques to route-find our way off-trail

• Learn how to identify and respectfully gather medicinal & edible plants

• Learn how to read the track and sign track wildlife and birds

• Connecting to your own wildness and freedom in the natural world

• Practice personal and group responsibility

WHAT’S REQUIRED?

Backcountry overnight camping gear (lightweight sleeping mat, sleeping bag, tent), personal dishes, hiking boots, suitable outdoor clothing for all weather conditions, etc. A detailed list can be sent upon inquiry.
